Malady - Malady

Great hardcore band formed in 2004 consisting of members of Pg. 99 & City of Caterpillar. It actually sounds exactly like Pg. 99 without the screaming vocals, and a little less instrumental power.

The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg - Everyone is in Love & the Flowers Pick Themselves/Secret Bark Language

The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg was a band from the UK. They have two releases as far as I know. Everyone is in Love etc is their full release, Secret Bark Language is their EP. On their full release, the album starts off great with the first 3 tracks just going all out. After the first 3, the next track sets a lighter mood being an instrumental song. Then the rest of the album is a mesh of the first 3 tracks/4th. Sorry for my bad wording, but yeah. If you're into The Blood Brothers, you will want to listen to this asap. But if not, still a good listen. :)

Alkaline Trio- Goddamnit

It's hard to type out all my thoughts on such a genre-defining album that really needs no introduction. All I can say is that "Goddamnit" is not only one of the greatest pop-tinged punk records ever, it is one of the greatest albums of all time period. I put off getting this album for way too long, but when I finally got around to it I was blown away more than I ever thought I could be. Not a single weak track on here, with just about every song being a standout. In my opinion, Alkaline Trio have not touched the greatness of "Goddamnit" with any of their other releases, especially since they've moved towards a more mainstream sound. I'm linking the 2008 reissue which contains the full album plus the Sundials EP and a couple other early tracks. Definitely worth owning a physical copy because it comes with a DVD that chronicles the formation of the band and history of the album.

Death Cab for Cutie - Plans

I'm sure alot of people know of this band. I would describe as a "twinkly" indie band. Not really much to say considering people know alot about them probably, but yeah. "Soul Meets Body" is a good song. :D

Roadside Monument - Eight Hours Away From Being a Man

RM is a 3-piece emo/math/instrumental/post-rock/experimental/WHATEVER band from '96-'98, '02-'03. They are one of the most underrated bands out there in my opinion. The album starts off rough with "Sperm Ridden Burden" being one of the only "shouted/heavy" songs. The rest of the album is mainly instrumental with some soothing vocals. Check them out.

Snowing- Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit

Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania's Snowing was formed from ex-members of Street Smart Cyclist and Boy Problems in the summer of 2008. "Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit" is their only release as of now (except for a 2 song tour demo which I will upload in the near future), but as far as I'm concerned, Snowing could break up right now and I'd be satisfied knowing that they left behind a short but sweet gem. The first time I listened to this little 5 song EP was one of the rare occassions where I was able to make an immediate connection with an album. The EP contains a catchy variety of upbeat emo, mixing aggression with emotion, as evident in the incredible lyrics. "Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit" proves that Snowing has the capacity to be everything a perfect emo band should be, and is an absolute must listen.
